Place-names and pennies – a poster for the Foreshore Forum 2013

The Thames Discovery Programme is a great project (lord knows why I never got involved in it during my time in London) and so, when I heard that it’s Annual Foreshore Forum was looking for posters on a Thamesian theme, I leapt at the chance to put something together about my ongoing work on the provenances of finds made along the Surrey bank of the tidal river.

By all accounts it was well received, for which I have the lovely Katja to thank for the design, and Courtney Nimura for organising the event. Also, bonus thanks to Dr Natalie Cohen for her kind words about it when I picked up the hard copy of it from MOLA HQ. Look out for it decorating the corridor outside a conference room near you soon…
