Live dates!

Ever wanted to hear Surrey Medieval talk about the research available to read on this site or something completely fresh and new? No, me neither. Regardless of your feelings on the matter, in the coming months I have two talks lined up which readers may be interested in attending (if only to hear the other speakers on the days) should you live or can travel to Surrey. They are as follows:

6th October at Hambledon Village Hall: Speaking on “Place-names and settlement” to the Village Studies Group of the Surrey Archaeological Society (revised programme here)

24th November at East Horsley Village Hall: Presentation, provisionally entitled “The cult of saints in a Surrey church: St Nicholas’ church, Compton”, to the SyAS Medieval Studies Forum “The Medieval Mind” seminar (draft programme here)

Seeing as how we’re on the subject, if you ever want to book me for a talk on the subject of one of my essays or blog posts then drop me an email at surreymedieval.blog@gmail.com and we can discuss things further.
